We will Focus on the explorations of contemporary movement mixed with Lambada techniques We will do an extensive warm-up that will get our bodies and minds ready for the journey of exploration and for the opportunity to find similarities and connections between these two worlds that in reality, there are not far :) We will play with the movement of arms, Movement of Legs, and Head movement within the drills and as part of the Combination. The drills will be specific to develop coordination and sensations within the vocabulary and shapes of Lambada ( Bonecas, Chicotes, Diagonal Turns,+) Every week we will repeat the routine helping us find a deeper understanding of the movement and what we could work on to create smother result in our movement. I will give personal feedback during the class and will be available for any questions after class. This class is an Intermediate level class- yet if you are looking for a fun workout and play at any level is welcome to dance Back Story- In my beginnings as a solo dancer, the Joy and the impact solo movement had in my life was unique, this opportunity helped me find freedom and enjoyment in my personal movement becoming an important part of my journey as a dancer. I want to share some of these dance experiences with you and the joy it brings. Zenzouk Lines is a class inspired by different techniques from ballet, modern dance, jazz, and my own personal exploration of the ELEMENTS🌎🌊🔥🌪 within each dance style. We will learn how to stack our bodies from the ground all the way to the crown of the head providing a blueprint for ease and expression of movement. ------------------ Can I join late?
